حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزَّعْرَاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَأْتِي الرَّجُلُ الْقَبْرَ فَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي مَكَانَ صَاحِبِهِ مَا بِهِ حُبُّ لِقَاءِ اللهِ وَلَكِنْ مِمَّا يَرَاهُ مِنَ الْبَلَاءِ

✧ A time will come upon people when a man will come to a grave and say, “Would that I were in the place of its occupant.” It is not out of love for meeting Allah, but because of the affliction he sees.
