✧ A Muslim has six duties of kindness toward another Muslim: he greets him with salām when he meets him, answers him when he invites him, says "May God have mercy on you" when he sneezes, attends his funeral when he dies, gives him sincere counsel in his absence, and loves for him what he loves for himself. Abū Jaʿfar al-Farrāʾ did not trace it back to the Prophet, but Abū Isḥāq al-Sabīʿī did trace it back.
