حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ثنا قُطْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

«وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَا فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ سُورَةٌ إِلَّا وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ أَيْنَ نَزَلَتْ وَلَا فِيهِ آيَةٌ إِلَّا وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ فِيمَا أُنْزِلَتْ»
