حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا حُدَيْجُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ فَتَعَشَّوْا عِنْدَهُ فَلَمَّا فَرَغُوا خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ عَلَى ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ غَضًّا كَمَا أُنْزِلَ فَلْيَقْرَأْ عَلَى قِرَاءَةٍ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ invited Abu Bakr and 'Umar, and they had supper with him. When they finished, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out between Abu Bakr and 'Umar and came upon Ibn Mas'ud while he was standing praying. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever would like to recite the Qur'an fresh as it was revealed, let him recite according to the recitation of Ibn Umm 'Abd."
