حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ السَّوَّاقُ الْعَبْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْقَاهِرِ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْ أَنَّ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيَانِ لَتَمَنَّى وَادِيًا ثَالِثًا وَمَا جُعِلَ الْمَالُ إِلَّا لِإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَلَا يُشْبِعُ ابْنَ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ وَيَتُوبُ اللهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ»

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “If the son of Adam had two valleys, he would wish for a third. Wealth was only made for establishing prayer and giving zakah, and nothing fills the son of Adam except dust. Allah turns in mercy to whoever repents.”
