حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الدَّبَّاغُ ثنا الْمُشْمَعَلُّ بْنُ مِلْحَانَ عَنْ مُطَّرِحِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ؓ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «بَعَثَنِي اللهُ هُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ وَأَمَرَنِي رَبِّي أَنْ أَدُقَّ الْمَزَامِيرَ وَالْمَعَازِفَ وَالْأَوْثَانَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تُعْبَدُ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ وَأَقْسَمَ رَبِّي بِعِزَّتِهِ لَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ عَبْدٌ مِنْ عَبِيدِي إِلَّا سَقَيْتُهُ إِيَّاهُ مِنَ الْحَمِيمِ فَإِمَّا أَغْفِرُ لَهُ وَإِمَّا أُعَذِّبُهُ وَأَقْسَمَ رَبِّي بِعِزَّتِهِ لَا يَسْقِي عَبْدٌ مِنْ عَبِيدِي صَبِيًّا لَا يَعْقِلُهُ إِلَّا سَقَيْتُهُ مِثْلَ مَا سَقَاهُ مِنَ الْحَمِيمِ إِمَّا أَنْ أَغْفِرَ لَهُ وَإِمَّا أَنْ أُعَذِّبَهُ وَأَقْسَمَ رَبِّي بِعِزَّتِهِ لَا يَتْرُكُهُ عَبْدٌ مِنْ عَبِيدِي مَخَافَتِي إِلَّا سَقَيْتُهُ إِيَّاهُ فِي حَضِيرَةِ الْقُدُسِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “God sent me as guidance and mercy to the worlds, and my Lord commanded me to destroy reed pipes, musical instruments, and the idols that were worshipped besides God. And my Lord swore by His might: no servant among my servants drinks wine but that I will give him to drink it from the boiling water, then either I forgive him or I punish him. And my Lord swore by His might: no servant among my servants gives wine to a child who does not understand but that I will give him to drink the like of what he gave from the boiling water, either I forgive him or I punish him. And my Lord swore by His might: no servant among my servants leaves it out of fear of Me but that I will give him to drink it in the presence of the Holy Precinct.”
