حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا فَرَجُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ لُقْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الصَّفِّ الْأَوَّلِ سَوُّوا صُفُوفَكُمْ وَسَوُّوا بَيْنَ مَنَاكِبِكُمْ وَلِينُوا لِأَيْدِي إِخْوَانِكُمْ وَسَدِّدُوا الْخَلَلَ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَدْخُلُ بَيْنَكُمْ مِثْلَ الْحَذَفِ» وَالْحَذَفُ وَلَدُ الضَّأْنِ الصِّغَارِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Allah and His angels send blessings upon the first row. Straighten your rows, align your shoulders, be gentle with the hands of your brothers, and fill the gaps, for Satan enters between you like a small lamb.” And al-hadhaf is the small young of sheep.
