حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ثنا أَبُو رَوْقٍ عَطِيَّةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا أَبُو الْغَرِيفِ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَسَّالٍ قَالَ
بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَرِيَّةٍ فَقَالَ «اغْزُوا بِسْمِ اللهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ لَا تَغْلُوا وَلَا تَغْدِرُوا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا وَلِيدًا وَلِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me on a military expedition and said: “Raid in the name of Allah, in the path of Allah. Do not steal from the spoils, do not act treacherously, and do not kill a child. And for the traveler, three days and their nights; and for the resident, one day and one night to wipe over the leather socks.”
