حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ مَكْحُولٌ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ بَكْرٍ السَّكْسَكِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ وَغَالِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنِ ابْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْكَيِّسُ مَنْ دَانَ نَفْسَهُ وَعَمِلَ لِمَا بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَالْعَاجِزُ مَنْ أَتْبَعَ نَفْسَهُ هَوَاهَا وَتَمَنَّى عَلَى اللهِ»
