✧ Abu al-Ash'ath al-San'ani narrates from Shaddad

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَنْدَهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي هَانِئٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ

مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَهُوَ يَحْتَجِمُ فَقَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by Ma‘qil b. Yasar in the month of Ramadan while he was being cupped, and he said: “The cupper and the cupped have broken their fast.”
