حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ السَّمُرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلِ اللهُمَّ بَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطِيئَتِي كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ اللهُمَّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ تَصُدَّ عَنِّي وَجْهَكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ اللهُمَّ نَقِّنِي عَنْ خَطِيئَتِي كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ اللهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَمِتْنِي مُسْلِمًا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, when one of you prays, let him say: “O Allah, distance me from my sin as You distanced between the east and the west. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from turning Your face away from me on the Day of Resurrection. O Allah, purify me from my sin as the white garment is purified from filth. O Allah, grant me life as a Muslim and cause me to die as a Muslim.”
