حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا دُحَيْمٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي خُبَيْبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا بِرَقِيقِ الرَّجُلِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ الَّذِي هُوَ تِلَادُهُ وَهُمْ فِي عَمَلِهِ لَا يُرِيدُ بَيْعَهُمْ وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ لَا نُخْرِجَ عَنْهُمْ مِنِ الصَّدَقَةِ شَيْئًا وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُخْرِجَ الصَّدَقَةَ مِنَ الَّذِي يُعَدُّ لِلْبَيْعِ»

✧ "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ, used to instruct us to give charity to the young and elderly individuals who are unable to work, without intending to sell them. He would also command us not to take anything from them in charity. He would order us to give charity from what is prepared for sale."
