حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يَا سُرَاقَةُ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَهْلِ النَّارِ؟» فَقَالَ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «أَمَّا أَهْلُ النَّارِ فَكُلُّ جَعْظَرِيٍّ جَوَّاظٍ مُسْتَكْبِرٍ وَأَمَّا أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ فَالضُّعَفَاءُ الْمَغْلُوبُونَ»
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "O Suraqah, shall I not inform you of the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire?" He said: "Yes, O Messenger of God." He said: "As for the people of the Fire, they are every rough, arrogant, boastful, and haughty person. As for the people of Paradise, they are the weak and the oppressed."
