حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ
«خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَهْلَلْنَا بِالْحَجِّ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلَلْنَا عَنِ الْوِلْدَانِ وَطُفْنَا عَنْهُمْ وَسَعَيْنَا عَنْهُمْ ثُمَّ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَحْلَلْنَا الْحِلَّ كُلَّهُ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَتْ عَشِيَّةُ التَّرْوِيَةِ أَهْلَلْنَا بِالْحَجِّ مِنَ الْبَطْحَاءِ» وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قِصَّةَ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

✧ "We set out with the Messenger of God ﷺ and entered ihram for hajj from Dhu al-Hulayfah, and we entered ihram on behalf of the children, and we circumambulated on their behalf and performed sa'y on their behalf. Then the Messenger of God ﷺ ordered us, and we exited ihram completely. Then on the eve of al-Tarwiyah, we entered ihram for hajj from al-Batha'." He did not mention the story of Suraqah b. Malik.
