حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ أنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُقْبَةُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ غَزْوَةٍ فَلَمَّا بَدَا لَنَا أُحُدٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اللهُ أَكْبَرُ أُحُدٌ جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ»

✧ He heard his father, who was one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, say: We were returning with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from a military expedition. When Uhud appeared to us, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah is the Greatest. Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it."
