حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سُوَيْدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ قَالَ
جَلَبْتُ أَنَا وَمَخْرَمَةُ الْعَبْدِيُّ بَزًّا مِنْ هَجَرَ فَأَتَيْنَا بِهِ مَكَّةَ فَأَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِمِنًى فَابْتَاعَ مِنَّا سَرَاوِيلَ وَثَمَّ وَزَّانٌ يَزِنُ بِالْأَجْرِ فَقَالَ «يَا وَزَّانُ زِنْ وَأَرْجِحْ»

✧ Makhramah al-'Abdi and I brought cloth from Hajar, and we came with it to Makkah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us at Mina and bought a pair of trousers from us. There was a weigher who weighed for a fee. He said, "O weigher, weigh and give full measure."
