حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ عَنِ الْعَوَّامِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ عَنْ سَفِينَةَ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَجَعَلَ كُلُّ مَنْ ثَقُلَ عَلَيْهِ مَتَاعُهُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ حَمَلَهُ عَلَيَّ حَتَّى حَمَلْتُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا كَثِيرًا فَمَرَّ بِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَا أَنْتَ إِلَّا سَفِينَةٌ»

✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey. Everyone among his companions whose baggage became heavy for him loaded it on me, until I carried a great deal of it. The Prophet ﷺ passed by me and said, "You are nothing but a ship (safinah)."
