حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَوْنِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ ؓ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِقِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ فَإِنَّهُ دَأَبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ ومَقْرُبَةٌ لَكُمْ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ وَمَكْفَرَةٌ لِلسَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَنْهَاةٌ عَنِ الْإِثْمِ وَمَطْرَدَةُ الدَّاءِ عَنِ الْجَسَدِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “You must observe the night prayer, for it is the practice of the righteous before you, a means of drawing near to God, the Exalted, an atonement for evil deeds, a deterrent from sin, and a repeller of disease from the body.”
