حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الشَّامِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ثنا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي قُرَّةَ قَالَ قَالَ

سَلْمَانُ ؓ إِنَّ حُذَيْفَةَ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ بِأَشْيَاءَ يَقُولُهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَضَبِهِ لِأَقْوَامٍ فَقُلْتُ يَا حُذَيْفَةُ لَتَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَوْ لَأَكْتُبَنَّ فِيكَ إِلَى عُمَرَ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنَا مِنْ وَلَدِ آدَمَ فَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَعَنْتُهُ أَوْ سَبَبْتُهُ فِي غَيْرِ كُنْهِهِ فَاَجْعَلُهَا عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةً»

Translation

✧ Salman ؓ said: Hudhayfa used to narrate things that the Messenger of God ﷺ said in his anger to certain people. I said, “O Hudhayfa, either you stop, or I will write to Umar about you.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “I am one of the children of Adam; any servant of my community whom I have cursed or insulted without just cause, I will make it a blessing upon him.”
