al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 596

✧ The Magnification of the Statement "There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah".

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الطَّائِفِيِّ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ

«أَقَمْنَا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ نِصْفَ شَهْرٍ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَرَأَيْتُ نَعْلَيْهِ لَهُ قِبَالَانِ»

Translation

✧ “We stayed with the Prophet ﷺ for half a month. I saw him turn to his right and I saw him turn to his left, and I saw his sandals had two straps.”
