حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْقَطِرَانِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ قَالَا أَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ قَالَ

كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَجَاءَتِ الْأَعْرَابُ فَسَأَلُوهُ مَا خَيْرُ مَا أُعْطِيَ النَّاسُ؟ قَالَ خُلُقٌ حَسَنٌ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنَتَدَاوَى؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ عِبَادَ اللهِ تَدَاوَوْا فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ لَمْ يَضَعْ فِي الْأَرْضِ دَاءً إِلَّا وَضَعَ لَهُ شِفَاءً غَيْرَ دَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ» قَالُوا وَمَا هُوَ؟ قَالَ «الْهَرَمُ»

✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ when the Bedouins came and asked him, "What is the best thing that people are given?" He said, "Good character." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, do you seek medical treatment?" He said, "Yes, you should seek medical treatment, for indeed Allah ﷻ has not created any illness except that he has also created its cure, except for one illness." They asked, "What is it?" He said, "Old age."
