حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ أَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ الْأَشْدَقُ قَالَ
أَدْرَكْتُ عِدَّةً مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِمَّنْ صَدَقَ مِنْهُمُ رقادُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ «أَخَذَ مِنَّا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ مِنَ الْمِئَةِ شَاةً فَإِنْ زَادَتْ فَشَاتَانِ»
Translation
Chain of narrators

✧ I met a number of the Companions of the Messenger of God ﷺ, among those who were truthful was Ruqad b. Rabi'a. He said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ took from us from sheep: from a hundred, one ewe; and if they increased, then two ewes."
