حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الدِّيرِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مِقْلَاصٍ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْ أَنَّ مَوْلُودًا وُلِدَ فِي فُقْهِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً مِنْ أَهْلِ الدِّينِ يَعْمَلُ بِطَاعَةِ اللهِ كُلِّهَا وَيَجْتَنِبُ الْمَعَاصِيَ كُلَّهَا إِلَى أَنْ يُرَدَّ إِلَى أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ أَوْ يُرَدَّ إِلَى أَنْ لَا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عَلْمٍ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَبْلُغْ أَحَدُكُمْ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ» وَقَالَ «إِنَّ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ الَّذِينَ شَهِدُوا بَدْرًا لَفَضْلًا عَلَى مَنْ تَخَلَّفَ مِنْهُمْ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said on the day of Badr, «By Him in whose hand is my soul, if a newborn were born in the understanding of the people of religion for forty years, acting in complete obedience to God and avoiding all sins until he is returned to the most abject age or returned to knowing nothing after having knowledge, none of you would reach what they have reached this night.» And he said, «The angels who witnessed Badr have excellence over those who stayed behind among them.»
