حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي نُعْمٍ ثنا رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ

أَنَّهُ زَرَعَ أَرْضًا فَمَرَّ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَسْقِيهَا فَقَالَ «لِمَنِ الزَّرْعُ وَلِمَنِ الْأَرْضُ؟» فَقَالَ زَرْعِي بِيَدِي وَعَمَلِي مِنَ الشَّطْرِ وَلِبَنِي فُلَانٍ الشَّطْرُ فَقَالَ «أَرْبَيْتَ فَرُدَّ الْأَرْضَ إِلَى أَهْلِهَا وَخُذْ نَفَقَتَكَ»

✧ He cultivated a piece of land, and the Prophet ﷺ passed by him while he was watering it. He asked, «Whose is the crop and whose is the land?» He replied, "My crop by my own hand and labor is from one half, and the land of Banu So-and-so is the other half." He said, «You have dealt in usury; return the land to its people and take your expenses.»
