حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الصَّوَّافُ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ الدُّهْنِيِّ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ أَصَبْتُ جِنِّيَّةً فَقَالَتْ لِي دَعْنِي وَلَكَ عَلَيَّ

أَنْ أُعَلِّمَكَ شَيْئًا إِذَا قُلْتَهُ لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ مِنَّا أَحَدٌ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَا هُوَ؟ قَالَتْ آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ {اللهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ} فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «صَدَقَتْ وَهِي كَذُوبٌ»

✧ “…that I teach you something which, if you say it, none of us will harm you.” He said: I said, “What is it?” She said, “The Verse of the Throne: {Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence}.” I mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, “She spoke the truth, but she is a liar.”
