حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ وَيُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْأَشْتَرِ قَالَ

كَانَ بَيْنَ عَمَّارٍ وَخَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ كَلَامٌ فَشَكَاهُ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّهُ مَنْ يُعَادِي عَمَّارًا يُعَادِيهِ اللهُ وَمَنْ يُسَفِّهُ عَمَّارًا سَفَّهَهُ اللهُ» قَالَ شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَلَمَةُ نَحْوَ هَذَا

✧ There was some speech between 'Ammar and Khalid b. al-Walid, and Khalid b. al-Walid complained about him to the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever is hostile to 'Ammar, Allah is hostile to him, and whoever treats 'Ammar as foolish, Allah treats him as foolish.” Shu'bah said: Salamah said something like this.
