حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلْ أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ فَتْحَهُ وَنَصْرَهُ وَنُورَهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ وَهُدَاهُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيهِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا قَبْلَهُ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا أَمْسَى فَلْيَقُلْ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: When one of you rises in the morning, let him say: “We have risen in the morning, and the dominion has risen in the morning belonging to God, Lord of the worlds. O God, I ask You for the good of this day: its opening, its victory, its light, its blessing, and its guidance. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what is in it and from the evil of what was before it and the evil of what comes after it.” Then when evening comes, let him say the like of that.
