حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَسْتَيْقِظُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَيُوقِظُ امْرَأَتَهُ فَإِنْ غَلَبَهَا النَّوْمُ نَضَحَ فِي وَجْهِهَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ فَيَقُومَانِ فِي بَيْتِهِمَا فَيَذْكُرَانِ اللهَ ﷻ سَاعَةً مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهُمَا»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “There is no man who wakes up during the night and wakes his wife; if sleep overcomes her, he sprinkles water on her face; then they both stand in their house and remember God ﷻ for an hour of the night, except that they are forgiven.”
