حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْسَ عَدُوَّكَ الَّذِي إِنْ قَتَلْتَهُ كَانَ لَكَ نُورًا وَإِنْ قَتَلَكَ دَخَلْتَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَكِنَّ أَعْدَى عَدُوِّكَ وَلَدُكَ الَّذِي خَرَجَ مِنْ صُلْبِكَ ثُمَّ أَعْدَى عَدُوٍّ لَكَ مَالُكَ الَّذِي مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “Your enemy is not the one whom, if you kill, it will be light for you, and if he kills you, you will enter Paradise. But your most hostile enemy is your child who came out of your own loins, then the most hostile enemy to you is your wealth that your right hand possesses.”
