حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّائِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ «اجْتَمِعُوا أُصَلِّي بِكُمْ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ» فَاجْتَمَعُوا فَقَالَ أَفِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ؟ قَالُوا لَا إِلَّا ابْنَ أُخْتٍ لَنَا قَالَ ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ «فَدَعَا بِجَفْنَةٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْهَا فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَظَهْرِ قَدَمَيْهِ وَتَقَدَّمَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمُ الظُّهْرَ فَقَرَأَ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ يُسْمِعُ مَنْ يَلِيهِ»

✧ He said, “Gather so that I may lead you in the prayer of the Messenger of God ﷺ.” They gathered, and he said, “Is there anyone among you besides yourselves?” They said, “No, except a nephew of ours.” He said, “The nephew of a people is one of them.” “He called for a wide bowl, performed ablution from it — rinsing his mouth and snuffing water, washing his face three times and his hands three times, and wiping his head and the top of his feet — then advanced and led them in Zuhr, reciting the Opening of the Book and making those nearest to him hear.”
