حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالُوا ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ كَرِيمِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو
أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَهُوَ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ الْعَضْبَاءِ قَالَ قُلْتُ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ اسْتَغْفِرْ لِي فَقَالَ «غَفَرَ اللهُ لَكُمْ» ثُمَّ اسْتَدَرْتُ مِنَ الشِّقِّ الْآخَرِ رَجَاءَ أَنْ يَخُصَّنِي فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ اسْتَغْفِرْ لِي فَقَالَ «غَفَرَ اللهُ لَكُمْ»

✧ He met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the Farewell Pilgrimage while he was on his she-camel al-'Adba'. He said: I said, "May my father and mother be your ransom, O Messenger of Allah, seek forgiveness for me." He said, "May Allah forgive you all." Then I came around from the other side hoping he would single me out, and I said, "O Messenger of Allah, seek forgiveness for me." He said, "May Allah forgive you all."
