حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَا ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الثَّعْلَبِيُّ وَالْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَنَفِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ قَالَ
قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَائِمًا عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَبِلَالٌ قَائِمٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مَتَقَلِّدًا سَيْفًا وَإِذَا رَايَاتٌ سُودٌ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ؟ قَالُوا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ قَدِمَ مِنْ غَزَاةٍ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- ʿUbayd b. Ghannām and ʿAbdān b. Aḥmad
✧ I arrived in Madinah and saw the Prophet ﷺ standing on the pulpit, and Bilāl was standing before him girt with a sword, and there were black banners. I said: “What are these?” They said: “ʿAmr b. al-ʿĀṣ has come back from a military expedition.”
