حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا آدَمُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ قَالَا ثنا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي مَعْبَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَارِثَةَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ يَقُولُ
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ تَصَدَّقُوا فَسَيَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ زَمَانٌ يَمْشِي الرَّجُلُ بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَيَقُولُ الرَّجُلُ لَوْ جِئْتَ بِهَا بِالْأَمْسِ لَقَبِلْتُهَا فَأَمَّا الْيَوْمَ فَلَا حَاجَةَ لِي فِيهَا

✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "Give charity, for a time will come upon you when a man will go about with his charity and a man will say, 'If you had brought it yesterday I would have accepted it, but today I have no need of it.'"
