حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ شُعَيْبٌ ثنا اللَّيْثُ وَقَالَ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ثنا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ

أَنَّهُ أَعَانَ بِفَرَسَيْنِ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ فَأُصِيبَا فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ فَرَسَيَّ قَدْ أُصِيبَا فعَوِّضْنِي فَأَعْطَاهُ فَاسْتَزَادَهُ فَزَادَهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَزَادَهُ فَزَادَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْمَالَ خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ فَمَنْ سَأَلَ النَّاسَ أَعْطَوْهُ وَالسَّائِلُ كَالْآكِلِ لَا يَشْبَعُ»

✧ He provided two horses on the day of Hunayn, and they were both injured. He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of God, my two horses have been injured, so compensate me." He gave him, and he asked for more, so he gave him more. Then he asked for more, and he gave him more. The Prophet ﷺ said, "This wealth is green and sweet. Whoever asks people, they give him, and the asker is like one who eats without ever being full."
