حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِنِّي رَجُلٌ أَصُومُ أفَأَصُومُ فِي السَّفَرِ؟ قَالَ «إِنْ شِئْتَ فَصُمْ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَأَفْطِرْ»

✧ That he said to the Messenger of God ﷺ, "I am a man who fasts; should I fast while traveling?" He said, "If you wish, then fast, and if you wish, then break the fast."
