حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي عَوْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ
ذَكَرْتُ بِنْتَ حَمْزَةَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لِيَتَزَوَّجَها فَقَالَ «هِيَ ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ»

✧ I mentioned the daughter of Hamzah to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ so that he might marry her. He said, 'She is the daughter of my brother through suckling.'
