حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا ذُؤَيْبٌ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «صَلَاةُ الْهَجِيرِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ» فَسَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ حُمَيْدٍ عَنِ الْهَجِيرِ قَالَ «إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ»

Translation

  4. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Ḥumayd from his father from his grandfather

✧ That the Messenger of God ﷺ said, 'The midday prayer is from the night prayer.' So I asked Abd al-Rahman b. Humayd about the midday. He said, 'When the sun declines.'
