حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

«قُتِلَ عَلِيٌّ وَهُوَ ابْنُ اثْنَيْنِ وَخَمْسِينَ وَلَهَا قُتِلَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَمَاتَ لَهَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ وَمَاتَ لَهَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Bishr b. Mūsá
  2. al-Ḥumaydī
  3. Sufyān
  4. Jaʿfar b. Muḥammad from his father

✧ Ali was killed when he was fifty-two, and at that same age al-Husayn b. Ali was killed, and at that same age Ali b. al-Husayn died, and at that same age Muhammad b. Ali b. al-Husayn died.
