حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ جَنَادٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْخَفَّافُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَمْرَةَ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ ؓ قَالَ
بِتُّ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَأَيْتُ عِنْدَهُ شَخْصًا فَقَالَ لِي «يَا حُذَيْفَةُ هَلْ رَأَيْتَ؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «هَذَا مَلَكٌ لَمْ يَهْبِطْ إِلَيَّ مُنْذُ بُعِثْتُ أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ فَبَشَّرَنِي أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ»

✧ I spent the night with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I saw a figure with him. He said to me: “O Hudhayfah, did you see?” I said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “This is an angel who has not descended to me since I was sent. He came to me tonight and gave me glad tidings that al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the chiefs of the youths of the people of Paradise.”
