حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْهَاشِمِيُّ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ؓ قَالَ
رَأَيْنَا فِي وَجْهِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ السُّرُورَ يَوْمًا مِنَ الْأَيَّامِ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْنَا فِي وَجْهِكِ تَبَاشِيرَ السُّرُورِ قَالَ «وَكَيْفَ لَا أُسَرُّ وَقَدْ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَبَشَّرَنِي أَنَّ حَسَنًا وَحُسَيْنًا سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَبُوهُمَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْهُمَا»

✧ We saw joy in the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one day, so we said: “O Messenger of Allah, we have seen signs of joy in your face.” He said: “How could I not be joyful when Jibril ﷺ came to me and gave me glad tidings that Hasan and Husayn are the chiefs of the youths of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than them.”
