حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ؓ
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِرَأْسَيِ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ ابْنَيْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ يَوْمَ سَابِعِهِمَا فَحُلِقَ ثُمَّ تَصَدَّقَ بِوَزْنِهِ فِضَّةً وَلَمْ يَجِدْ ذِبْحًا»

✧ «The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the heads of al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn, the two sons of ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib ؓ, to be shaved on their seventh day, so they were shaved, and he gave its weight in silver as charity, and he did not find an animal to slaughter.»
