al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 21873

✧ The news of Umm Sulaim's ᴿᴬ reaction when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited and prayed in her house.

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ بِنْتِ مِلْحَانَ

أَنَّهَا «اسْتَفْتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَحَاضَتْ أَوْ وَلَدَتْ بَعْدَمَا أَفَاضَتْ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ فَأَذِنَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَخَرَجَتْ»

✧ That she sought a ruling from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after she menstruated or gave birth after having performed the Ifadah on the Day of Sacrifice. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted her, so she departed.
