✧ Umm Kulthum, the daughter of Abu Salama bin Abd al-Asad al-Makhzumiyyah, the companion wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ غَنَّامٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أُمَّهَاتِهِ أَوْ جَدَّاتِهِ

عَنْ أُمِّ فَرْوَةَ وَكَانَتْ قَدْ بَايَعَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَتْ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ «الصَّلَاةُ فِي أَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا»

✧ From Umm Farwa, who had given allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked: Which deeds are best? He said: “Prayer at the beginning of its time.”
