✧ Umm Kulthum, the daughter of Abu Salama bin Abd al-Asad al-Makhzumiyyah, the companion wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ غَنَّامٍ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ أَبِيهِ الدُّنْيَا

عَنْ أُمِّ فَرْوَةَ جَدَّةِ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَتْ مِمَّنْ بَايَعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَحَبُّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَى اللهِ تَعْجِيلُ الصَّلَاةِ لَأَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا»

✧ From Umm Farwa, the grandmother of his father, who was among those who gave allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “The most beloved of deeds to Allah is hastening the prayer to the beginning of its time.”
