حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنِّي مُنْطَلِقٌ غَدًا إِلَى يَهُودَ فَلَا تَبْدَءُوهُمْ بِالسَّلَامِ فَإِنْ سَلَّمُوا عَلَيْكُمْ فَقُولُوا وَعَلَيْكُمْ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I am proceeding tomorrow to the Jews, so do not initiate the greeting of peace with them. If they greet you, then say, 'And upon you.'"
