حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَصْرَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّا ذَاهِبُونَ غَدًا إِلَى الْيَهُودِ فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فَسَلَّمُوا عَلَيْكُمْ فَقُولُوا وَعَلَيْكُمْ فَلَقِينَاهُمْ وَسَلَّمُوا عَلَيْنَا فَقُلْنَا وَعَلَيْكُمْ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "We are going tomorrow to the Jews. When you meet them and they greet you, say, 'And upon you.'" So we met them and they greeted us, and we said, "And upon you."
