حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُرَّةَ مَوْلَى عَقِيلٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ

لَمَّا افْتَتَحَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَكَّةَ فَرَّ إِلَيَّ رَجُلَانِ مِنْ أَحْمَائِي مِنْ بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ فَخَبَّأْتُهُما فِي بَيْتِي فَدَخَلَ عَلِيَّ أَخِي فَقَالَ لأَقْتُلَنَّهُما فَأَغْلَقْتُ عَلَيْهِمَا الْبَابَ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ «قَدْ أَجَرْنَا مَنْ أَجَرْتِ وَأَمَّنَّا مَنْ أَمَّنْتِ»

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ conquered Makkah, two men from my in-laws of Banu Makhzum fled to me, and I hid them in my house. My brother ʿAli entered and said: “I will surely kill them.” So I locked the door on them, then I went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. He said: “We have granted protection to the one you have granted protection, and we have granted safety to the one you have granted safety.”
