حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ أَنَّ أَبَا مُرَّةَ مَوْلَى أُمِّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ تَقُولُ ذَهَبْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ فَوَجَدْتُهُ يَغْتَسِلُ وَفَاطِمَةُ تَسْتُرُهُ بِثَوْبٍ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ «مَنْ هَذَا؟» فَقُلْتُ أَنَا أُمُّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَقَالَ «مَرْحَبًا بِأُمِّ هَانِئٍ» فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْ غُسْلِهِ قَامَ فَصَلَّى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ مُلْتَحِفًا فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ زَعَمَ ابْنُ أُمِّي أَنَّهُ قَاتِلٌ رَجُلًا قَدْ أَجَرْتُهُ فُلَانُ ابْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قَدْ أَجَرْنَا مَنْ أَجَرْتِ يَا أُمَّ هَانِئٍ» قَالَتْ أُمُّ هَانِئٍ وَذَلِكَ ضُحًى

✧ Umm Haniʾ bt. Abi Talib said: I went to the Prophet ﷺ in the year of the conquest and found him performing ghusl while Fatimah was screening him with a garment. I greeted him, and he said: “Who is this?” I said: “I am Umm Haniʾ bt. Abi Talib.” He said: “Welcome to Umm Haniʾ.” When he finished his ghusl, he stood and prayed eight rakʿahs wrapped in a single garment. When he finished, I said: “O Messenger of God, the son of my mother claims that he will kill a man whom I have granted protection—so-and-so, the son of Hubayrah.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “We have granted protection to the one you have granted protection, O Umm Haniʾ.” Umm Haniʾ said: And that was in the forenoon.
