حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ثنا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مُرَّةَ مَوْلَى عَقِيلٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَاغْتَسَلَ فَصَلَّى الضُّحَى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي قَدْ أَجَرْتُ حَمَوَيَّ ابْنِيْ هُبَيْرَةَ وَإِنَّ ابْنَ أُمِّي زَعَمَ أَنَّهُ قَاتِلُهُمَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قَدْ أَجَرْنَا مَنْ أَجَارَتْ أُمُّ هَانِئٍ»

✧ that the Prophet ﷺ entered upon her on the day of the conquest, performed ghusl, then prayed Duha as eight rakʿahs in a single garment, having crossed its two ends. She said: “O Messenger of God, I have given protection to my two brothers-in-law, the sons of Hubayrah, and the son of my mother claims that he will kill them.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “We have granted protection to whom Umm Haniʾ has granted protection.”
