✧ "I brought you from the land of Abyssinia until when I was a night or two away from Madinah, I cooked something for you. The firewood ran out, so I went out to look for some. I reached for the pot and it tipped over onto your forearm." Then she came with him to Madinah and brought him to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of God, this is Muhammad b. Hatib, and he is the first to be named after you." He wiped his hand over your head and prayed for blessing for you, and he spat lightly into your mouth. Then he began to spit lightly on your hand and say: "Remove the affliction, Lord of the people, and heal, for You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no sickness." I did not get up with you from his presence until your hand was healed.
